Your Yoga Instructor and hostess
Jessica is a passionate yoga practitioner who loves to sail and teach yoga, bringing clients closer to nature in serene and inspiring landscapes.
Inspired by the beauty and tranquillity of the Greek Island and with her BTEC in beauty sciences plus a keen need to understand the link between health and spirituality, in March 2015 Jessica journeyed to an ashram in Rishikesh, India for six weeks. Here, she completed her 200hr yoga teacher qualification with Yoga Alliance, specialising in Haha yoga. Hatha focuses on developing the asanas (poses) and combining pranayama breathing control techniques, to revitalise our prana (life force). Whilst in India, she also gained a whole new perspective on yoga philosophy and the Ayurvedic lifestyle. This is the concept and practise that she offers to clients wishing to explore or develop Hatha yoga within the comfort of this fabulous yacht and calm tranquility of these stunning seascapes. Open to ideas and full of enthusiasm Jessica is always happy to discuss all aspects of Hatha yoga and the Ayurvedic lifestyle over convivial suppers.
Together with her fiancé Captain Andy, they make a warm, friendly and relaxed environment very much focussed on the comfort of their guests.
Jessica's BTEC qualification in Beauty Therapy Sciences includes sport massage, beneficial in aiding yoga practice. In addition her study of nutrition science ensures a healthy, exciting and plentiful daily food preparation for guests.
For the experienced Yoga Teacher
We welcome yoga teachers to work with us to offer students a chance to experience the yoga sessions they provide in their studio at home, as part of an incredibly special holiday in the beautiful Mediterranean.
In this instance we will do all we can to ensure that the experience your group has on our yacht is perfect in terms of ambiance, nourishment and spiritual well-being
Wholesome breakfasts consisting of cereal, fresh fruits, cheese and bread will be provided daily each morning, after the yoga session.
Vegetarian lunches will be prepared freshly each day, using local produce from the islands and vary, according to itinerary.
Dinners held on shore at one of the many tavernas or restaurants, where you have the opportunity to try some of the traditional local cuisine.
We are happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements, please do let us know of any at the time of booking.
We ask you to join Mythos after 5pm on Saturday.
Introductions with welcome drinks and snacks take place at 7pm followed by a group meal at a Greek Taverna with set menu. This meal is included in the price of your holiday.
